Who We Are

We serve the City of San Jose with pride as union members of IFPTE Local 21, MEF - AFSCME Local 101, and IAFF Local 230.

We are frontline city workers that provide essential services in San Jose. We are librarians, emergency dispatchers, firefighters, planners, animal shelter technicians, veterinarians, airport staff, engineers, water maintenance staff, code enforcement, recreational leaders, architects, environmental specialists, transportation staff, food and nutritional staff, and more.
